Punta Mita

Punta Mita is a very safe place to visit since it is a fully enclosed development that has a 24/7 security surveillance throughout the development and in each sub-development inside the Punta Mita peninsula.

There are many types of transportation available from Puerto Vallarta International Airport to the private development of Punta Mita. You can request a taxi cab, Uber, or even a car rental. We recommend booking your pick up with our private drivers to avoid complications and to guarantee an excellent arrival.

  • Punta Mita is approximately a 45 minute drive away from Puerto Vallarta's International Airport.

The main type of transportation inside Punta Mita are golf carts, which help you move around the development and will take you no more than 10 minutes to ride across the peninsula.

With your golf cart, you can visit Punta de Mita Village, the four different beach clubs that Punta Mita has to offer, and you can even visit the Four Seasons Resort and St. Regis Resort with a previous dinner reservation or with a visit to their payed beach clubs.

No, with VEHM you secure your reservation by paying 50% of the total price. The rest is due a month prior to your reservation.

In VEHM we do not offer a vast selection of homes, we only offer the right ones. Our team obsesses over every last detail to make sure each and every one of our homes is in the upmost conditions and up to the VEHM Standard. This means that by renting with us you will not have to worry about broken faucets, air conditioning that does not cool and heating that does not warm your room, squeaky mattresses, among other flaws you will likely encounter should you decide to rent with another vacation rental company.

Yes, by renting with us you will have the certainty that you will be attended Monday through Sunday in case you need anything.

Our homes include a daily breakfast preparation service and some even include lunch preparation. However, the guests are responsible for the cost of groceries.

A few weeks prior to arrival, a member of our concierge team will contact our guests to share a breakfast (and in some cases lunch) menu where the guests can choose different options for their meals throughout their stay.

Once they have decided their meal options for each day, the concierge arranges a grocery list based on the ingredients needed for the meals and one day prior to arrival, every ingredient will be ready for when our guests arrive.

  • At the end of the stay, the concierge will charge the grocery shopping cost and any additional grocery runs made throughout the stay.

Of course, we can arrange lunch/dinner preparation for an extra cost. However, most of our popular destinations like Punta Mita, where homes don’t include lunch and dinner have plenty of restaurants and beach clubs you can try and that we consider part of the vacation experience. Therefore, we recommend guests to only have breakfast at home.

Tips are encouraged and are always welcome.

Depends on each home’s policy. Generally, you can cancel any reservation with 2 months’ notice and get a full refund. In some cases, we can change the reservation dates with no additional cost.

Absolutely nothing other than committing to having an up-to-date calendar that will let us know when we can rent your property. We take care of everything else, your home will be assigned a property manager and a concierge that will handle every matter with expertise.

It us up to you how you receive the money you earn hosting. Payout methods include wire transfers, credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, among others. We pay owners as soon as customers complete the payment. **Extra fees may apply with some payment methods.

Before securing a reservation, guests are required to sign a contract that specifies that guests are strictly prohibited from:

  1. Using the property for any other purpose other than hospitality,
  2. Introducing pets of any kind to the property and its common areas.
  3. Allowing the access of more people than authorized.
  4. Using the sound system in any way that may cause problems with the properties nearby after the allowed schedule, which is from 9:00 am to 11 pm.
  5. Engaging in any activity that may damage the property, its common areas, furniture, and equipment.
  6. Altering the structure, decoration, distribution, or any other arrangement of the property.
  7. Entering without authorization to any other property located in the development.
  8. Not complying with the order of the community.
  9. Damaging the flora and fauna of the environment within the property and its surroundings.
  10. Consuming or using illicit or illegal substances according to the current legislation in Mexico.
  11. Introducing weapons or explosives to the property.
  12. Smoking inside the property.
  13. Damaging, removing, or using inadequately any object found within the property.
  14. Engaging in any activity that could damage or affect the property’s common areas, equipment, contents, or personnel in any way.
  15. Engaging in illegal activities according to the current Mexican legislation.
  16. Allocate or sublease the property without VEHM’s consent.

Additionally, just like we support our guests 24/7, we are at our owners’ service the seven days of the week should they need anything.

Not without your approval. We generally recommend slight modifications like installing a smoke and carbon monoxide detector for the safety of our guests, incorporating certain amenities we know guests look for when renting a property, among others. However, we consult everything with our hosts.
